All teachers registered for the course will be given advance notice to prepare statements on:
- An introductory display on their school and/or national education system
- The challenges facing teachers of Mathematics in their local/national situation
- How the introduction of the Euro is being addressed in schools in their local/national situation.
- A statement on Maths and Gender in answer to the questions:
- What is happening in your country to deal with gender issues through mathematics teaching?
- What are students in your school(s) thinking about why/how girls don't like mathematics as a subject in the school curriculum and in their lives?
