Being responsible for maths throughout school, teaching maths from a wider point of view, to get more ideas to teach maths in a new and more motivating way it gives me the necessary tools to develop the conscience of the European citizen in the pupils based upon their own identity, I will be better prepared to win the learning challenges of Maths andEuro maths as well as the advantages of Internet usage in Portugal the results in Mathematics are in the bottom. Therefore all the teachers need to use other issues and get new ideas how to motivate the pupils First I have the plans to do my lesson in English, I am interested by this course to improve my English language and of course to have a reflection about Mathematics and the application of the Euro I teach in a Specialist Language College and wish to increase the International Dimension in my departmentïs teaching. I has also enabled me to make contacts in other countries with a view to making links for pupils to use and also facilitate the sharing of data. I wanted to hear something about using the Euro in Mathematics, I was interested in European citizenship, I was interested in the different ways of teaching in Primary school. the course apply to analyse and to discover new strategies in the maths teaching, thinking in the improvement of the pupils success in this area; it improved the knowledge about oral and hand written English, and it contributed the using of new technologies in different curricula areas.

1. How does the course influence to the whole school community and organisation?

I hope the main impact will have a greater reflect on the level of a greater learning capacity, comprehension and explanation about being an European citizen, using one unique coin and belonging to a global community which can use a common research and knowledge source: the Internet.
I think that a motivated teacher can share his enthusiasm and his knowledge to the other colleagues and other members of the school departments. The school will benefit by using the website of Euromaths and other materials.

by the information about this course I will try to convince at least some of my colleagues to follow me into this rather new field. In my opinion the European dimension of our subject is a very important thing.
this is a difficult question, I need time to do the synthesis of this course which was very rich in ideas!!!
the course contributes to sensitize the school colleagues to the importance in using new technologies of information in the other curriculare areas. I am trying to motivate them to giving their participation on Socrates projects. It will give a new personal and professional knowledge, with the using of new technologies and materials.
I will inform my colleagues about the course and its contents. I will discuss some problems about citizenship and using the Euro with the parents of my pupils.

2. How does the course influence to the working and/or teaching methods you will use in the future?

I will have a special look on the problem ?Gender and Mathematics?. I will have another view on disability of pupils in the first years of school (thinking of the lecture of Pekka R„s„nen), I will compare the teaching programme of the English schools with our programme of Mathematics.
The course makes me think about the participation of the students in classmates, that should be more active and with the using of new technologies. This new strategies will contribute to the progress of the knowledge of the students about the citizenship and Europe.
I will try to get more connection with other European teachers and schools to share information and materials.
The course influences my work in the future, because I understand that I can find a lot of materials in Internet, I can share some difficulties with my colleagues using the Forum, I can change materials with my colleagues, and maybe, my pupils can also change messages and materials with other children, so they will be more motivated to learn.

with some adaptation for my particular needs I will be able to use some of the ideas seen on the course and the website.
some are too less!
I hope there will be some material on the web page of Euromaths soon. The Basket of goods will be suitable and some material of the Portuguese team. The English team gave me the programme for the education in Mathematics of their schools.

4. Does your participation of the course benefit the pupils of your school/institution? In what way?

I learns something about disability by doing some experience. I visited a Finnish primary school and saw some material. I had intensive discussions with the participants of the other European countries about their experience with pupils.
In participating I have changed at least a little bit and this will have influence on my pupils. Some things I heard in this course were very interesting and will go into my daily work.
I hope that the pupils will benefit from new ideas and links with other schools will motivate them.
the students will benefit with my experience in this project. The using of this new kind of experience and strategies are going to be more diversity. They will use often the new technologies and they are going to do European Interchange.
The course will develop links between schools and bring international flavour to the curriculum allowing opportunities to exchange materials. The children will benefit, but only if participants maintain their enthusiasm for the project. I it is to have maximum benefit then we must convince our colleagues that the project is a good idea.
The evolvements will be better reached because the school will profit the values achieved during the course.

5. How does this course influence to the international activities of your school/institution?

If my colleagues could see, in my work with my pupils, the benefits of this intercultural change, they will be more ?open mind? to other different international activities and other European Projects.
In my school we have the plan to open a European Section for Cookering student. I will try to lead the teacher team to develop European exchanges. With the N.T. it?s easy!!!
My school participates in an European dimension of the Curricular school project, using as strategie the interchange school. Now I wish to improve the Educative Project in this European dimension with the correspondence change with Belgium, Italy, Iceland and Germany schools, once my colleagues are very motivated now to do it.
My school is a language college committed to international links and my participation in this course will strengthen these aims.
I will provide my pupils in contact with other European teachers with e-mail addresses and try to motivate them to communicate with each other.

There should have been computers all the time, The tasks should be sent earlier, I would like to see more Finnish schools and lessons.
